growing up the son of Henry shanklin a man man who didn’t do much that didn’t involve a bar stool but who understood the importance of the out door experience.making sure my brother and i were nurtured in this.uncle Larry and also his father installed in me me a love of all things huntin and fishin and all things to do with the out of doors.as i reflected on our last fishing trip this past spring with my brother Leroi(also in his 80,s who also pasted this year). i thought about how i now had to run between these twobaitng hooks and removing fish and was reminded of how he had to do this for myself and Larry junior decades before mentor teacher freind he will be missed Stephan m Shanklin
