Mr. James Albert Goetz

James “Jim” A. Goetz, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday April 1, 2025 at the age of 71.
He is preceded in death by both his parents George and Elizabeth Goetz amongst many relatives.

Jim was born on April 27, 1953 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a John Marshall’s High School graduate of 1971. He was a graduate of University of Milwaukee and attended other universities throughout his lifetime. He earned a degree in Business Management and Political Science. Jim had various job interests over the course of his life and owned an independent part time painting business for many decades. He was a volunteer at Havenwoods State Forest for more than 25 years and a devoted catholic and member of the Blessed Savior Parish Catholic Church.

Jim’s hobbies included traveling, visiting local breweries, local festivals, sports events, music, politics, and enjoying the company of friends, family and neighbors.

He is survived by his brother, Michael Goetz; nieces Amber (Greg) Goetz-Herbert; Heather Goetz; great niece, Amara Goetz; cousins and many lifelong friends.

Jim’s memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be on Saturday April 26th, 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Savior Parish Catholic Church, 8607 W Villard Ave,
Milwaukee, WI 53225. Followed by a memorial service at 11:30 AM. A social gathering will be held at the Bavarian Bierhaus from 1-3 PM.
